This plan is available to you as part of your Real Estate Agent’s commitment to bring value to your transaction. Together, we can help you facilitate this important transaction with the least amount of problems and costs.

Superior Services You Can Expect From RERM


RERM provides exceptional access for our clients at a reasonable rate. You can expect the following services from the RERM program BEFORE Escrow closes:

1. Up to 30 minutes of telephone consultation time per transactional, non-dispute, legal matter with a licensed real estate attorney. There is no limit as to the number of matters eligible for consults as long as they pertain to different legal matters. (Legal matters must pertain to the property listed on the Protection Plan.)

2. Up to ten (10) pages of document review by the panel attorney.

3. Up to 25% rate reduction off the normal and customary fees on any additional services that the member requests from the participating attorney.

Lifetime Dispute Resolution Services
AFTER the Close of Escrow

RERM provides informal mediation services to bring about early resolution of most disputes and has a success rate above 96%.

An RERM certified professional mediator will provide you with self-help guidelines for communicating your claim to the adverse party, including sample demand letters.

An RERM certified professional mediator will be assigned to assist in facilitating mediations to comply with the mediation clause found in the typical Real Estate Purchase Agreement.

When other remedies have not resolved the dispute,  if appropriate, information regarding the Small Claims Court System will be available to you.

The Lifetime Dispute Resolution Service* is limited to matters involving the covered property purchased or sold through an RERM enrolled Real Estate Professional.

Your agent will let you know. RERM fees are contingent upon the close of escrow, so there are no prepaid fees on your transaction. At the close of escrow the very reasonable fee for RERM services is paid. If escrow does not close, any services rendered are free of charge.
You can use the program before, during, and after the close of escrow per transaction. Transactional, Non-Dispute, Legal Advice is available for one attorney consultation per subject matter up to 1 year after close of escrow. Lifetime mediation services available upon close of escrow.
Currently we are only available in the states listed above. However we are growing to other states in the near future.

Choosing an agent that provides the Buyer and Seller legal protection plan is easy. If you live in California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon or Hawaii ask your agent if they carry RERM.

before Escrow

When buying or selling a property you may have legal questions regarding the transaction, or you might want a lawyer to review some documents. With the plan, you're covered!

after Closing

You're covered long after the close of escrow with a Lifetime Dispute Resolution Services and Mediation services. Relax, we'll be here for you as long as you own your home.

Fees are contingent upon the close of escrow, so there are no prepaid fees on your transaction. At the close of escrow the very reasonable fee for RERM services is paid. If escrow does not close, any services rendered are free of charge.
